Pronouns: I, You, He, She, It, We, They
Pronouns replace nouns so we don't repeat the same word.
**Subject pronouns** (who does the action):
I, you, he, she, it, we, they
- **I** am a student. **She** is my sister. **They** live in London.
**Object pronouns** (who receives the action):
me, you, him, her, it, us, them
- Give **me** the book. I called **her**. Tell **them** to come.
**Possessive adjectives** (ownership before a noun):
my, your, his, her, its, our, their
- **My** name is James. **Their** house is big.
**Possessive pronouns** (ownership without a noun):
mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs
- This bag is **mine**. That pen is **yours**.
Examples
She is my best friend. I met her in school.
This is our house. It is ours.
💡 common English common error: "Myself James" is not correct! Say "My name is James" or "I am James."
