Pronouns: I, You, He, She, It, We, They

Pronouns replace nouns so we don't repeat the same word. **Subject pronouns** (who does the action): I, you, he, she, it, we, they - **I** am a student. **She** is my sister. **They** live in London. **Object pronouns** (who receives the action): me, you, him, her, it, us, them - Give **me** the book. I called **her**. Tell **them** to come. **Possessive adjectives** (ownership before a noun): my, your, his, her, its, our, their - **My** name is James. **Their** house is big. **Possessive pronouns** (ownership without a noun): mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs - This bag is **mine**. That pen is **yours**.

Examples

She is my best friend. I met her in school.

This is our house. It is ours.

💡 common English common error: "Myself James" is not correct! Say "My name is James" or "I am James."
